Professor h. c. of Philology (Slavic literatures and languages) and sociology with focus on migration and genocide studies, in particular the Late Ottoman genocides against the indigenous Christians; 1983-2015 documentarist and research scholar of the Department of Sociology at the Institute of Eastern European Studies of Freie Universität Berlin; author of numerous publications on Armenian history, culture and present situation. Her recent book

Dallmann); Der Genozid an den indigenen Christen des Osmanischen Reiches: Armenier, Griechen, Syro-Aramäer/Assyrer/Chaldäer; eine ausführliche Dokumentation mit drei Modulen von je neun Unterrichtseinheiten (Weilerswist: Verlag von Hase & Köhler, 2024).
